About Cubs

Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged 8-10½ years who form the second section in the Scouting family between the Beaver Scout and Scout Sections.

During their time in the Pack, Cub Scouts will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. There are a range of badges available which Cub Scouts can wear on their uniforms to show everyone how well they’re doing. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes they will be able to go camping with the rest of the Pack and take part in all kinds of outdoor activities.

At 5th Lichfield [Holy Cross] Scout Group we have two Cub Scout Packs meeting on a Monday evening; 6:45pm and finishes at 8:15pm or Tuesday evening; 6:00pm and finishes at 7:30pm at Holy Cross Parish Hall situated behind Holy Cross Church on Chapel Lane just off Upper St John Street in Lichfield. We like everyone to have arrived and ready to start by Monday; 6.40pm or Tuesday; 5:55pm. We always meet in full uniform unless otherwise specified.
