On Tuesday 22 December 2009, 18 Beavers boarded the train at Lichfield City and travelled to Birmingham New Street Station. Arriving at New Street Station, the Beavers ventured through Birmingham City Centre towards Redpoint Climbing Centre. ''WOW, look at those climbing walls''. All Beavers enjoyed climbing and most can climb grade 3. After climbing, Lunch time and a short walk through the German Market to The Birmingham Wheel. Redpoint Climbing Centre and The Birmingham Wheel are well worth a visit, browse the photos below:

Leaving Redpoint Climbing, think all Beavers enjoyed themselves, but walking to next activity The Birmingham Wheel.
All Beavers and Leaders had a birds eye view of Birmingham City whilst on the Birmingham Wheel.
The Beavers walked back to Birmingham New Street through the German Market. Some Beavers said ''they never seen a German Market''
